After school programs, tutoring and formal educational, recreational, sports and character building programs; minority health education, tobacco use prevention, mentoring, family and individual counseling, social case work, girls emergency shelter, boys group home, boys supervised living program. Addresses problems related to housing, unemployment, civic responsibility, voter registration and food distribution. Administers the Providence Comprehensive Emergency Services (CES) Program for prevention of child abuse. The Family Renewal Center (FRC) provides special services to families of color. Project New Hope and Youth New Futures (YNF) serve youth returning from the Rhode Island Training School.
